"There are three ways of dealing with difference: domination, compromise, and integration. By domination only one side gets what it wants; by compromise neither side gets what it wants; by integration we find a way by which both sides may get what they wish." Mary Parker Follett
Mediation offers a neutral, transformative space for voluntarily resolving conflict at work empowering individuals to communicate effectively and work collaboratively. It is most effective if it is used before conflict escalates to the point where views become entrenched. A trained mediator will help individuals to have their say, be encouraged to understand another perspective and engage in practical solutions.
